Stephanie Navarrete, Au.D.
Stephanie serves as the Director of Audiology at Tucson ENT. She has been with our practice since 1993, after receiving her Masters degree from the University of Colorado. She received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from Salus University and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology.
Stephanie enjoys working with patients of all ages. She provides a full range of audiological services, including mapping of cochlear implants and fitting high-end digital hearing aids. She is passionate about serving the needs of those with hearing loss and finding adequate solutions for a variety of needs.
Stephanie is a native Arizonan and has 2 children.
Alisha Severson, M.S.
Alisha graduated from The University of Utah in 1997 with her Master’s degree in Audiology. Since then, she has worked in a variety of audiological settings in Utah, California, Alaska and Australia.
Alisha is a Tucson native and is happy to be living back in her home state. She enjoys working with patients of all ages from birth to 99+ years old, and developing relationships with them through the process. Alisha anticipates the completion of her doctorate degree in Audiology from The University of Florida in Spring 2017.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her husband and three children.
Abel Smith, Au.D.
Abel was locally trained and educated at the University of Arizona. He also earned a doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida in 2011. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA) and has held his dispensing audiology license since 2004. Abel has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of both hearing and balance disorders in adults and children. His experience with hearing aids have taught him that no two ears are alike; he strives to personalize hearing aids to the needs of the individual wearing them. When he is not riding his bike, he enjoys any and all outdoor activities he has time for. Abel speaks a bit of Spanish and some Portuguese. He lives with his wife and son (Max) in central Tucson.
Sarah Laszok, Au.D.
Sarah received her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2015 and joined Tucson Ear, Nose and Throat after graduation. Sarah is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and has her Arizona State Hearing Aid Dispensing License. She enjoys the diverse clinical environment at Tucson Ear, Nose and Throat. In her free time, you can find Sarah at the gym, visiting with family and friends, or out exploring the world!
